First Week of College? Check (:

I loved the idea of having a blog for everyone to see while I'm away at college... I then started to realize that I also wanted to do this for me to see how my life goes through these next four years. I wanted to wait a week to start this so I can post plenty of pictures and tell all the stories of the first week of college! Well, I moved into college on Friday, August 19th. It was a great move in and everything went as planned. Through the next few days I started to meet new people and life in college was going well. Then I had to go start classes, the professors at WCU are amazing, but the homework they give... not so much! Although the homework can kick my butt at times, I love the college life and I love learning how to live on my own and just becoming an adult. Speaking of becoming an adult, I turned 18 Wednesday, August 24th! My parents, my grandparents, my aunt Candy, and Amber Willard all came up to Cullowhee to visit me (: My parents took them, some friends from college, and me all out to dinner that night! (which was great to have more of a variety than just cafe food on my birthday!) On Thursday, my Nana came up and took me out for dinner and saw my room! My family, friends and girls on my hall made my 18th birthday a blast, all giving me cards, singing happy birthday to me while brushing my teeth and just wishing me well! My first week of college has been a blast and I know that I am more than blessed to have the life I live!
